Google Meet is a robust video conferencing tool that enables users to connect virtually for meetings, classes, and social gatherings. It is part of the Google Workspace suite (formerly known as G Suite),
Step 1: Open Google Calendar
Navigate to calendar.google.com and sign in to your Google account.
Step 2: Create a New Event
Click on the “Create” button on the top left corner or directly on the desired date and time on the calendar grid.
Step 3: Enter Event Details
Fill in the event title, date, time, and optional location in the pop-up event details window.
Step 4: Add Google Meet Video Conferencing
Click on the “Add Google Meet video conferencing” option to generate a Google Meet link automatically.
Step 5: Invite Guests
In the “Guests” section on the right side, enter the email addresses of the attendees and set any necessary permissions.
Step 6: Add Additional Details
Include any additional information such as the meeting agenda in the description box and attach any relevant files from Google Drive.
Step 7: Save and Send Invitations
Click “Save” and choose to send email invitations to your guests. They will receive the event details along with the Google Meet link.
